Thank you for visiting Counseling for Conscious Healing! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology at Binghamton University and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Florida Gulf Coast University. I offer in-person and virtual therapy to adults in North Carolina, where I provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment.
I specialize in relationships with self and others. We all have insecurities and struggle in different areas of life. The more self-awareness and insight we have, the more power we have to grow and make positive changes. We will work together to identify and overcome limiting beliefs and self-sabotaging patterns that are getting in your way of feeling confident, and having stronger relationships with those you love. Clients I work with strive for self-acceptance, inner peace, and healthier relationships in their lives.
I also specialize in Conscious Parenting. If parenting is stressing you out and you’re looking for a modern approach (compared to traditional parenting), I can help. Conscious parenting utilizes introspection and mindfulness to increase self-awareness, especially in tough parenting moments (for example, when our child is throwing a tantrum in the store). Psychoeducation, mindfulness training, and inner child work are the main areas of focus in this therapy. You will learn how to validate your child, set appropriate boundaries, and teach them emotional regulation skills. Being more in control of our own reactions makes a significant difference in our interaction and ability to connect with our children.
Outside of work I love spending time with my husband, two daughters, and our fur babies. I enjoy reading (although motherhood has given me a new appreciation for Audible and podcasts). I have been on my own conscious healing journey for over 13 years, which has led to learning many new things about myself and experiencing deeper connections with my loved ones.
