About the instructor:  Janet began her studies in Therapeutic massage at GTCC. She later attended Mueller College of Holistic Studies in San Diego receiving a Acupressure degree along with two 1000 hours holistic health practitoner degrees in Western & Asian bodywork. Janet was an instructor there for 3 years and in 2000 worked at the Processing Center massaging for the Summer Olympic Team. She has worked with major resort spas and was the Spa Director at the Grandover Golf & Resort Spa, and Light as a Feather. Janet was the Executive Director for Natural Touch Schools of Massage & Esthetics, and Program Director for Living Arts School of Massage.

Janet has massaged over 10,000 people, written programs for massage schools, reviewed massage textbooks, been interviewed in many publications and written her own book( Acupressure for Bodyworkers & Herbalist).Janet is a homework reviewer for Rosemary Gladstar’s Science & Art of Herbalism and also has a recipe in Rosemary’s Firecider book. She loves traveling, teaching, learning herbs, shamanism and meeting people.
