Ashley Friend, PT, DPT
Ashley received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from D'Youville College in Buffalo, New York. She began her career as a travel physical therapist, allowing her to pursue her love of traveling while gaining work experience treating diverse patient populations, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
In 2014, she began her journey in Myofascial Release and quickly saw the incredible benefits it brought to her patients. She is now an expert level John F. Barnes' trained Myofascial Release Therapist. Myofascial release is a safe, effective manual technique involving the application of gentle, sustained pressure to myofascial restrictions and tightness throughout the body which can result in decreased pain, improved mobility and improved quality of life. In conjunction with her myofascial release training and extensive background in physical therapy, Ashley is able to provide a holistic well-rounded individualized approach to recovery and wellness.
Ashley enjoys staying active and participating in a variety of activities including hiking, dancing, Zumba, and aerial yoga as well as just spending time at home with her animals reading a good book!
