My Story & Why I Do This Work
The reason I'm so passionate about helping others comes from my own story — and God is still writing it. In October 2010, I was diagnosed with breast cancer (ductal carcinoma). I had a mastectomy and lymph node biopsy, and an expander was placed to begin the reconstruction process. In March 2011, I had a permanent implant placed. Then in March 2023, I had to have the implant removed due to capsular contracture and Breast Implant Illness — something I knew nothing about at the time.
Because lymph nodes were removed during my original surgery, I've struggled with lymphedema in my left arm. The first step in dealing with lymphedema is getting it under control. The second step is learning how to manage and maintain it.
With any type of surgery or illness, our lymphatic system can become sluggish and may need support to help flush toxins from the body. This is where manual lymphatic drainage plays an important role.
How I Help
I'm not sharing this for sympathy — I'm past that. My goal is to help others who are dealing with similar health challenges: breast cancer, breast implant illness, lymphatic drainage, scarring, body aches, and of course, stress. I'm here to help you take your body back and feel comfortable living in it again.
